Traditional Chinese Medicine - Insurance for Practitioners

We have put together a combined package of professional indemnity insurance and public liability insurance for traditional Chinese medicine practitioners.

The cover under this combined arrangement is provided by two UK based underwriters and includes all important treatment risk for practitioners of traditional Chinese medicine.

These premiums are based on the Chinese medicine practitioner earning fees of less than £50,000 per annum, and having no claims or circumstances that would have given rise to a claim had insurance been in force. Other practitioners will be individually rated on application.

Professional Indemnity Insurance including treatment risk.

Cover in on a ‘Claims Made’ basis, as is standard for Professional Indemnity insurance.
The Limits of Indemnity are Any One Claim and unlimited in the aggregate.
The above premiums are on the basis of an Excess of £500 each and every claim, in order to keep the premiums low.

Public Liability Insurance

Limit of Indemnity: £2,000,000
Excess:£100 each and every claim for Third Party Property Damage
Insured Occupations: As declared in Professional Indemnity section only
The Limit of Indemnity is Any One Claim in the Annual Aggregate in respect of Pollution/Contamination claims.
