Remote employees present a challenge with training and development, not just in the onboarding phase but on a continuing basis and it is vital that employers engage employees in this.

The challenges for new starters for onboarding in remote work are self evident but what may be a greater challenge is to ensure that employees continue to develop their skills much is the way that they would do in the "normal" working environment.
