Ahead of the opening of the 2018 Farnborough Air Sow, Rolls Royce has announced that it has drawn up plans for an EVTOL vehicle designed to carry four to five people and that the vehicles could be available within the next ten years.
Rolls Royce join a growing number of companies trying to make what was once the stuff os science fiction films a commercial and practical reality.
The British engine and vehicle giant claims the new vehicle will be capable of speeds of up to 250mph with a range of 500 miles. Head of Rolls Rove Electrical, Rob Watson commented;
